THE CITY IS AN ABUSER

Living in a big city in today's "civilization" entails an almost constant daily extreme assault on one's senses. Everyone is getting in everyones' way. It's a nerve-wracking exposure to gross and crude materialism. Plus just about everyone you meet glances you suspiciously as if you could possibly murder them. But then you find yourself being equally nervous of " strangers" for the same reason. There always seems to be the presence of another human being you've never met, right behind you.

As Peter Hamill once sung;
" The stranger the common man, the stranger the common man;
the stranger the common man, the stranger the common man."

Yet living in the countryside can be worse. Should you desire a degree of privacy neigbours spread vicious exponential gossip that ends up where everyone in the village believes you are a serial child abuser, or something equally nasty. What they don't know about you they make up. Yet if you tell them all there is to know they have a field day. A film editor becomes an overnight purveyor of pornographic DVDs village sensation.

So. Physical or psychological abuse ~take your pick.

Ahh, the human condition.

THIS WIND FARM BALONEY 2

As a brief update to my previous blog WIND FARM BALONEY, ( please refer to Archive) we are told the horrible truth in today's Daily Mail.

Nigel Doughty, who's company LM Glasfher constructs the turbines for the wind farms donated £250,000 of dough to the Labour Party after a dinner with Tony Blair.

So there we have aother big piece in the Wind Turbine scam story. Please see April archive for full scam details. These monstrosities make no contribution to reducing C02 emissions whatsoever because the main coal & oil-fired generators/polluters cannot be slowed down or shut down ~the cost of re-starting them is astronomic ( as they would need to be when the wind drops, assuming we cover the entire country with them to provide enough power when the wind is up)). It's a massive taxpayer's money laundering scam.
Snouts in the trough isn't the phrase ~ it's enough to make me heave.

TRANSPORT FOR LONDON SUPERSCAM

I hear with disbelief that Transport for London are to spend £180 million on connecting their monster buses up to some satellite system so as waiting passengers at bus stops will know when the next oversized red clunk is due. Also to make sure two don't arrive in tandem.

Big Deal!

£180 million of taxpayers' dosh from their massive subsidy. Read my previous blog BLOODY LONDON BUSES for an intro to these idiots.

It's all kick-backs and jobs for the boys, they have to keep coming up with these mega wastes of money schemes/scams to keep their greedy little piggy pockets filled with backhanders.

All the local councils are in on this same money laundering scam idea, by spending huge amounts on unecessary works in order to secure brown paper envelope under-the-table cash wads to line their fat piggy councillor pockets.

On any other language it's called grand theft and fraud.

But is any of this relevant to Blogger users? Are there many/any reading this from the UK?
Do drop me a comment or I'm off to another blog site soon.

CRISIS IN CONSCIOUSNESS

Something strange is going on in our minds. Everyone on the planet seems to be affected. Surely you have noticed many of your friends cracking up? Life events are having a disproportionately stressful effect on people, more so than ever before it seems. There is crisis in consciousness because the unconscious is being driven into consciousness. The unconscious mind is an incredibly vast storehouse of STUFF, mostly unresolved. Life events are triggering the release of these knots into consciousness. The consequence in the manifested gross world is increasing chaos and stress exhaustion. Drugs, alcohol and sleep are but three means of " escape".
But consciousness is relentless, ~again the unresolved parts of our being will surface, until they are all dealt with. This " dealing with " requires the black stuff under the surface to surface.

But how many of us will be able to take the stress this surfacing is causing without cracking up? Or worse.

There's a lot to come out. The only defence is to voluntarily accept and understand what is going on and to try to develop along spiritual lines.

OUT DEMONS OUT

I read with interest in today's broadsheets that our prime minister is resisting pressure from within his cabinet to step down/resign. Already!

" Hang on a minute" says Tony, " I haven't got my pals to sort me out a great new international diplomacy job yet ".

There's a saying in Africa that a monkey on the move doesn't let go of one branch until he has a firm grasp on the next.

So I suppose within the next month or two we can expect a " surprise announcement" from No 10.

Welcome prime minister Brown. I'm sure he's just itching to get cracking on damming the motorway network with road tolls, his hands rubbing together at the prospect of all the extra £billions of revenue.

The problem with England is that you just can't see things getting any better. White flight abroad is one manifestation of demoralization at the way things are being run here.

STILL ACTING

Before we move away from the grubby world of politics I can't resist mentioning our Tony again, featured as he was in today's tabloids appearing all contrite, saying he has " learnt " from and "listened" to the way the British people have voted. We presume he is refering to the Iraq war but he won't be drawn on exactly what he feels he has learnt ~of course.

The problem is that he knew how the British people felt about the war in the weeks leading up to it ( massive demonstrations, polls etc) yet chose to ignore that virtual vote. So in effect he didn't want to learn and listen then but he does now ~ after the slaughter. So he would like us to believe he is a changed man. This is a new one ~ the contrite mask.

I think he has such a vast repertoire of political masks in his wardrobe that he no longer knows how to express a genuine reaction in public. Perhaps this " learning" and "listening" is the closest we will ever get to an expression of secret regret or guilt. I shudder to think what all this has done and will do to his inner life. Must hand it to him though, he's some tough cookie to have kept his heart out of all this. ALIEN ALERT!

LAME DUCK'S BACK

The superficially smart arrogant prat Blair is back in Downing Street but on crutches ( a meagre 36% of the vote ) and with his wings clipped ( from 167 to 6o-odd seats ). Now being such an obvious liability to his party and with Gordon " back door tax" Brown hovering in the wings/straining at the leash, it's only a matter of short time before Mr B. packs in and limps off to some top cushy part-time Europarl' number beside his pal Mandy, and write the obligatory autobiog.

So that's all ok then.

Like hell it is. That bastard, along with Bush is a war criminal responsible for the brutal deaths by horiffic means of thousands of innocent men women and children and hundreds of thousands more terribly injured. His one remaining defence, that they or their numerical equivalent would have been killed anyway by Saddam over time is complete horse shit. That's like saying we are all going to die in time, so may as well get it over with now and bring back hanging ~for everyone, John Cooper-Clarke style. If there was any justice in the world both would be standing 'cuffed & facing a jury in the Hague.

Blair was told in no uncertain terms by the intelligence services that war with Iraq would " risk a substantial increase in terrorism". Now we have the tragic situation of about 20 - 50 people blown to bits in suicide car bombings and killed in shootings almost every day. Blair's " not available for comment" silence is deafening. What nauseating hypocrisy.

TB and Dubbya ~like the Crusaders of old ~ claim Christ on their side " Fight the good fight" etc. They should maybe try this one ; " What profiteth a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul? " ~JC AD 30 (ish)

Thank goodness "Gorgeous " George Galloway has unseated that slippery PC nightmare TM, Oona King down in Hackney. Here's a straight-talking no nonsense man with some principles and healthy sense of respect and justice and IN politics! As for the Blairite luvee, pretty smiling Oona; I dare say she'll be given a new job within fawn team Blair soon enough ~ crud always floats to the top. ( It's just a political analogy Oona, I'm sure you're a lovely lady in social intercourse)

.. . . .so all is not quite lost ~yet.

ELECTION SPECIAL 3

Only one day to go to make-your-mind-up-time for the great British electorate. What an entertaining farce the campaign trail has become. White- shirted one man band Howard popping up on a soapbox JM- style in some backwater cobbled market square with a fresh sound byte each morn. Charlie K. with a faithful backdrop forest of orange placards, talking good sound sense whilst marching onwards to yet another LD false dawn. Phony Blair, arrogance personified in a light blue shirt, air fist-gesturing to spin-doctored gatherings of hard core Labour activists, whilst spouting off yet more weasel words. Who's he trying to kid? Himself of course ~ he's the only one left in the country who apparently believes what he says. What an actor! What an actor!

But all this is academic. The media have made a good soap opera out of it, the good British people have weighed-up all the issues they would like to consider in an ideal world. Much pub gripe has gone down. But come D. day there will only be one choice. Labour. Not because of any moral or social conscience or prefered issue but because Labour has presided over eight years of house price boom and economic stability inherited oddly enough from the previous JM govt. Brown couldn't run the proverbial whelk stall, he's been LUCKY. Yer average middle Englander has made a nice tidy wedge on his house and wants to protect it, so will no way take a risk by switching parties. Blair needn't have worried ~ for all their high moral protestation most Britains still vote with their grubby pockets. Blood money IS the word.
The mass-murdering warmonger you know is better than the ex-Thatcher side-kick you don't.
Imagine the arrogance of Blair elected back in yet again with a huge majority. There'll be no stopping him. After Iraq for breakfast it's a fair bet he'll be in the mood to have Iran for dinner.
" Would you like giant mushrooms with that steak Tony? " ~ " Mmm, yes please George!"
